AUTOMATIC TRAFFIC BARRIER
Automatic Traffic Barrier, Model Auto One, manufactured by Siam Traffic Company Limited, an equipment selected to demonstrated your future International Standard, designed for use as traffic stopper at an entrance or exit. Quick action with most efficient operation.
Feature
- Housing : Made of stainless steel, completed with base plate and topsite cover to completely enclosed working mechanism, hinged opening at the front can be lock with a padlock.
- Barrier is control electrically by push-button switches mounted at any convenience position.
- Barrier Arm : Made of rectangular aluminium tube, equipped with reflection sticker(3M Diamind Grade) of red and white and stop-return card sign. End covered with red plastic cap. In dimension of 10 x 4.5 cm.
Electrical Control Box
Inside the control box contain two magnetic switches and one overload device, to control electric current providing to a drive motor through three steps push-button switches, also one micro switch at automatically cut off current in emergency.
Operation Control Push-Button Switches
FOR - For barrier raising to upright position and automatically stopped.
REV - For barrier lowering to horizontal position and stopped automatically.
STOP - For barrier stopping during movement, both up and down, can be stop at any position and resume by pushing FOR or REV button as required.
Electrical Wiring To Switches
Switch wiring throught a 5 ampere circuit breaker to the barrier. Electric cable of 10 x 1.5 or 6 x 1.5
- Square Millimeters were used. Electric cable of 10 x 1.5 sq.mm., or 6 x 1.5 sq.mm. PVC, VCT.
- Waterproof conduit or Galvanized pipe conduit of 3/4 Inch diameter.
Electric Drive Motor
To turn in both left and right direction, to drive reduction gears set through a rubber web belt, to move barrier arm up or down as required. Electrical specification are as follows :
- 220 Volt AC. 50 Hz
- A.3 Ampere
- 4 poles, 0.5 Horse Power
Reduction Gears Set
To reduce drive speed of motor to operate gear attached to barrier at ratio of 1:50 revolution.
Shock Absorber System
Main shock absorber to absorb end movements of barrier and a spring shock absorber to act as lever control to keep the barrier in horizontal position.
